Guided Walk - Ansin Riverfront Conservation Area in Sebastian

Join us on this easy one mile in and out hike that comprises beautiful mesic hammock and scrub habitat adjacent to the Sebastian River. Giant swamp hickory, bromeliad laden oaks and Florida wild olive trees will shade our walk while we will also be talking about the different species of epiphytes (plants that grow primarily on the surface of trees) that are native to Florida and how they interact with their environment.

Directions: Water Vliet & County Road 512, Sebastian, FL. On Water Vliet drive past a little cemetery on the left, then turn right before the gated community, the road will lead you to the parking lot.

Please bring water and mosquito spray.
